Training in the Tibetan Practice of Ho Liao Me Bum
Tibetan medicine, which stems from ancient teachings, is rooted in history since the 7th century and is closely related to Buddhism. Its basic principle is the understanding that all human diseases arise from different aspects of the mind. Man is seen as a single system, and the absence of this awareness gives rise to ignorance. Ignorance is the root of the three main factors of disease: "wind", "bile" and "phlegm". In a healthy person, these three factors are in harmony. However, when one of them becomes predominant, disease occurs. Tibetan medicine classifies 15 types of these factors, which plays an important role in diagnosis and treatment.
Tibetan practice of fire healing and herbal warming includes methods such as "Ho Liao" and "Me Bum".
"Ho Liao" is a procedure that includes massage techniques, working with points on the body and applying herbal compresses or oils to improve blood circulation and overall health.
"Me Bum" is another form of Tibetan therapy that involves the use of fire and herbs to treat various ailments and stimulate energy points in the body. Both practices are aimed at achieving balance and harmony in the body.
